New client Hilton Palacio del Rio in San Antonio received some well-deserved press about their new NuPhysicia Medicine At Work clinic. The clinic is part of their strong commitment to the wellbeing of the hotel employee team. Employees receive physician care and wellbeing services for little or no out of pocket cost, enabling quick addressing of health problems before they worsen plus access to wellbeing services for weight loss, blood pressure control, and blood sugar management. The on-site clinic opened in December and provides services to all 350 employees at the hotel.
The San Antonio CBS affiliate KENS5 news broadcast featured comments from hotel manager Troy Benavides about the goals for the clinic, and took viewers on a tour. Also, assistant director of sales Irene Garcia reviewed her recent experience with the clinic to address an earache.
The story noted importantly that this clinic is the first of its kind amongst the many hotels in San Antonio, a true industry innovation.
